Data trap

Comcast has now separated twice from the same reported base. Any CMCSA trailing figure spanning 2026-01-02 still contains Versant's cable networks, and every current figure still contains NBCUniversal, Sky and the theme parks — the businesses due to leave in 2027. Comparisons across either date describe companies that no longer exist in that shape.

Notes

Comcast's second separation, and much larger than the first: the completed Versant Media spin is tracked separately on this calendar and the two are distinct transactions, which the Q2 10-Q discusses side by side. The spinco takes the Media, Studios and Theme Parks segments plus Sky, carries the same dual-class structure as Comcast, and Comcast expects to keep up to 19.9 percent for as long as a year after completion. No Form 10 has been filed. The NBCUniversal entities that already exist on EDGAR are debt-issuing subsidiaries, not this spinco.
